Communion & Fellowship Lunch (3-1-09)

On Sunday, March 1st, we’re having the Lord’s Supper during the joint morning worship with INV.  It will be followed by a fellowship lunch.  Please bring a main dish and a side dish or dessert to share.  After lunch, we’ll have an afternoon devotional in place of evening worship.

Pastor Nathan Trice

Pastor Nathan Trice, has been pastor of Matthews Orthodox Presbyterian Church in Matthews, North Carolina, since he was ordained to the gospel ministry in 1996.  He is a popular speaker on the subjects of marriage and parenting, bringing to his lectures a treasury from his sound exegesis of the Scriptures, his own godly upbringing, and the experiences of being both a husband and father.

Nathan was born to Christian parents in Columbus, Georgia, and was raised with five younger siblings in southwestern Virginia.  He received a B.A. degree in Historical Studies from Covenant College in Lookout Mountain, Georgia in 1991, and an M.Div. degree from Knox Theological Seminary in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida in 1994.  He has also done further studies toward a Th.M. degree at Westminster Theological Seminary in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania while interning at the Orthodox Presbyterian Church in Franklin Square, Long Island.

Nathan and his wife Ashley were married in 1998, and have five children, ranging in ages from 9 to 3 years: Allie, Henry, Duncan, Tristan, and Owen.
