Reformation Day Party (10/30/09)
October 23, 2009 Posted by bethanygunterYe are all invited to a Reformation Day Feast
When: Friday, October 30th, 6:00 p.m.
Where: Calvin OPC in De Young Hall (4150 E. Acoma Dr., Phoenix, AZ 85032)
What to wear: Come dressed as a Reformation era or Bible character.
What to bring: The main dish will be provided (BBQ beef/pork sandwiches). Please bring a side dish, salad or dessert to share.
RSVP: To Bethany Gunter by October 26th (BethanyGunter@gmail.com or 602-441-5542).
The evening will consist of food, fellowship, & ye olde Reformation-style games.

Annual Missions Christmas Project!
Speaker: Doug Clawson, Associate General Secretary of OPC Foreign Missions
Date: Sunday, October 25th
Time: 5:00 PM (Note earlier time for this evening service)
Join us for an inspirational presentation about the OPC mission programs. A light fellowship supper will follow.
Missions selected for this year’s gifts:
- OPC missionaries in Czech Republic
- OPC missionaries in Quebec
- Harriet Butler at the Navajo Nation.
Please make your check out to Calvin Presbyterian Church and mark it for “Missions” before October 25th.

(Please do not confuse this special Missions offering with the annual THANK OFFERING for all OPC missions that will occur in November.)

Youth Hike (10/10/09)
October 9, 2009 Posted by bethanygunter8:30 a.m. Youth hiking trip to Fossil Creek. Meet at the church & bring water, trail snacks, and a sack lunch to be eaten during the hike. A small cooler will be available to put them in for the drive there. Wear comfortable hiking shoes! We plan to arrive back at COPC in the late afternoon.
